The Method

Research · Think · Solve.

ਖੋਜ · ਸੋਚ · ਹੱਲ

The method is the institution. Three steps, in order, applied to every output we produce.

1 · Research ਖੋਜ

Gather the facts. Honestly. Before we argue, we look. Punjab Think Tank is built on disciplined evidence — fieldwork, datasets, sourced literature, primary research. No claim survives without a citation behind it. This is the foundation everything else stands on.

2 · Think ਸੋਚ

Where evidence becomes argument. Facts on their own don't decide. We take the research and work it through — what does it mean, what are the trade-offs, where does the system actually break? This is the analytical layer most public commentary skips.

3 · Solve ਹੱਲ

Where argument becomes action. Diagnosis is not the destination. Every output we produce ends with a proposal — a guide, a brief, a set of recommendations realistic enough to be picked up by people who actually make decisions. We do not stop at the problem.

Why three, not one

Most Punjab commentary stops at step one (research without analysis), step two (commentary without evidence), or step three (solutions without basis). The three steps are sequential and dependent — research grounds the thinking, thinking sharpens the solution, and the solution validates the value of having researched in the first place. Skipping a step is what makes most policy writing weightless. Doing all three is what gives ours weight.
